Not a new concept to any followers from America, however here not many will have heard of a 'Project 52'. Take a photography theme, be it life in the street, family, celebrations etc (just one theme) and take one photo every week for the 52 weeks of the year. Sounds simple enough doesn't it? But in truth it can be quite a bit more involved than that. You have to choose your theme, stick to your theme and be creative enough to keep it interesting and different for the whole year through, then in the end it needs to be able to tell the story of your year. At week one I'm wondering what on earth I was thinking. To make it worse, I've got other fellow photographers involved in their own project 52's all looking to me to lead the way and stick to it.
So now having two New Years Resolutions: 1. My Project 52 and 2. Blog more, I guess it seems fitting to blog my project 52 on a weekly basis.

Week 1:

"Every image shows a moment that captured my heart, and tells a story of time spent together"
Week one's image is of the newest edition to the Hughes household, little Kaitlyn Paige at 4 months old. I fell in love with her little pout in this image, although I'm sure when she's 15 her pout will be a lot less appealing.
